Talisman AC Issues

I've experienced something similar with my Talisman. The AC suddenly stopped working, and I noticed the engine was running hotter than usual. Have you checked for any refrigerant leaks? It might be worth investigating before assuming it's the control unit. Though, the compressor is a common failure point.

Thanks for the quick response. I did check for obvious refrigerant leaks, but found nothing conclusive. Given the symptoms, are you certain it was the compressor in your case, or did you replace the control unit as well?

In my case, the workshop confirmed it was just the compressor. They did mention the control units are also a weak spot on the Talisman, but fortunately, that wasn't the problem I had. Considering the error code you mentioned, I'd still recommend having it professionally diagnosed.

Understood. I appreciate the clarification. I'll take it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis. Initial quote is 980€, so hopefully that will solve the issue.
