Talisman AC Problem

Hi, my 2018 Renault Talisman diesel has an A/C problem. The air conditioning doesn't switch on, so it's not cooling at all. The car throws an error, and I'm not sure what to do. Anyone experienced a similar issue?

I had a similar A/C shut off with my Talisman. Before jumping to conclusions about the compressor, have you checked for refrigerant leaks or the pressure sensor? It might be a simple fix.

Thanks for the hint! Is there a way to check for those myself, or am I better off bringing it to a workshop?

While you could try checking the pressure switch and AC relay yourself with a multimeter, A/C systems are pretty sensitive. Without the right tools, it's tricky. I'd personally recommend taking it to a pro to avoid causing more problems.

Alright, thanks for the advice! It turned out to be undervoltage related, but the local mechanic sorted it out for 240€. Case closed!
