Talisman Airbag Warning Light

Sounds familiar! I've got a Talisman too, and I had a similar issue with the SRS light a while back. Did it happen after you hit a particularly nasty pothole? I'm just wondering if it's a crash sensor thing. Could be a loose connection or a faulty sensor. Was there any talk about an airbag recall on these?

You mentioned a crash sensor – where is that located, and is it something I could check myself without accidentally deploying the airbags? And a recall, really? I haven't heard anything about that. Where would I even check for an airbag recall?

Okay, airbag deployment is not something you want to trigger accidentally, trust me! I'm no expert, so I'd hate to steer you wrong about the sensor location. Best bet is to let the workshop take a look. I ended up paying 95€ for them to fix it. As for the recall, check the manufacturer's website or your local vehicle safety authority. I think I heard about it on another forum.
