Thanks for the tip! Which connector was it specifically on the Volvo? Was it difficult to access? I'm thinking of getting the multimeter out this weekend to test it. Any particular readings I should be looking for?

Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact connector location, but it was definitely on one of the front struts, near the top mounting point. Access wasn't too bad, just needed to remove the wheel and some plastic trim. Honestly, given the error code and symptoms, I'd recommend a proper diagnostic check at a workshop. Could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop today and you were spot on - corroded connector on the front strut. New connector fitted, error cleared, and all back to normal. Cost me 95€ for the repair. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue on my old Volvo V60. Same symptoms – error light, bumpy ride, the works. It turned out to be a corroded connector on one of the front struts. Made the car feel like it was riding on square wheels! Have you checked all the connections and wiring looms thoroughly? A multimeter might be your friend here.
