No, no recent work whatsoever. It just started happening out of nowhere. How did you fix yours? Was it also the servomotor, and what was the damage?

Okay, good to know no work was done recently. Honestly, I never actually got to diagnose it myself. The symptoms were similar, so I took it straight to the workshop and they sorted it out. Best to get it checked professionally; these modern lighting systems are pretty complex.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I suspected as much. I've booked it in at the shop; looks like it'll be around 1040€ to replace the headlight unit. At least it's getting sorted.

Hey, I have a Talisman too, and your problem sounds familiar. I had something similar happening with my adaptive headlights a while back. Was there any work done on the lighting system recently? Maybe a headlight switch replacement?
