Talisman power windows inoperative after battery change
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2019 Renault Talisman, the power windows became inoperative, with an error indicating unsuccessful window regulator initialization. The issue persisted despite attempts to use the window switches on each door. The suggested solution involves taking the vehicle to a workshop for re-initialization of the window regulators using a diagnostic tool.

Yes, I've tried the window switches on all doors, but nothing happens. The power windows remain completely unresponsive. Is there a specific procedure I should follow, or is it something more involved?

Sounds like the same issue I had. Unfortunately, nothing I tried at home worked. Ended up taking it to a workshop. They had to re-initialize the regulators with their diagnostic tool. Cost me about 290€, if that helps.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It seems like a trip to the workshop is indeed necessary. I appreciate the confirmation and the cost estimate; it helps to know what to expect. Will post the resolution after the repair.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Talisman after the battery died. The window controls just wouldn't work. Did you try the window switch on each door? Sometimes that gets them going again.
