Talisman Stalling After Fuel Filter Change
Summary of the thread
After changing the fuel filter on a 2021 Renault Talisman, the vehicle began stalling at idle, displaying a check engine light, and experiencing reduced engine power. The issue was suspected to be related to the fuel pressure sensor or regulator. Upon further investigation and advice, it was determined that the problem was indeed with the fuel pressure regulator, which, once replaced, resolved the stalling and performance issues.

Error entries, you say? That's interesting! What kind of error entries did you get and was it definitely the pressure sensor? I'm trying to avoid ripping everything apart if I can help it.

Yeah, error entries pointing to the fuel pressure regulator. Honestly, I tried fiddling with it myself but ended up taking it to a workshop. They replaced the fuel pressure regulator, and it fixed everything. It might be worth getting it checked out by a professional.

Alright, I appreciate the insight! Turns out, it was the fuel pressure regulator. Cost me 45€ to replace, but at least the Talisman is running smoothly again. Thanks for the advice!

Whoa, sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my Talisman. Check engine light, engine misfire, the whole shebang. Did you happen to get any error entries after the fuel filter change? Could be a pressure sensor issue.
