Talisman start stop problem

Hey, I've got a 2015 Renault Talisman with a diesel engine, and my start-stop system is acting up. An error is stored, the engine shuts off, and the warning light is on. I'm thinking it's the battery. Anyone else experienced this?

I have a Talisman too. Sounds familiar! Does it happen more often when you've been doing short trips? Could be a battery issue. Is your battery heavily discharged?

That's a good question! I do mostly short trips. How did you solve the problem?

Yeah, short trips were the culprit for me too. It kept draining the battery. Ultimately, I had to get a new one. It's probably best to get it checked out at a workshop to be sure though.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop, and you were right. The battery was the issue. Cost me 290€, but it's fixed now. Appreciate the help!
