Talisman Undervoltage Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Talisman diesel is experiencing an undervoltage error, leading to poor starts, system failures, flickering lights, and a weak battery. The issue is likely due to a defective or heavily discharged original battery. The suggested solution is to check the battery's charging system, including the voltage regulator, and consider replacing the battery. The problem was resolved by replacing the defective battery at a workshop.

I haven't checked the regulator. Where is it located and how can I test it? The battery is the original one that came with the car, I think.

I'm not sure about the exact location on the 2022 model, but a workshop should be able to diagnose it quickly. Given it's the original battery and you're getting undervoltage, it's likely heavily discharged or defective. Could be time for a replacement!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right. It was a defective battery. Cost me 290€ to replace. Appreciate the help.

I also have a Talisman and experienced something similar last year. Have you checked the battery's charging system? It might be a voltage regulator issue or a voltage drop somewhere. How old is your battery?
