Talisman Windshield Wipers Failure

I know those cars. Before you go too deep, have you checked the basics? Is the turn signal working fine? Sometimes a fault in the stalk assembly can mess with the wipers. Also, is the wiper motor getting power?

The turn signals are working perfectly, so that's probably not it. I haven't had a chance to properly test the wiper motor for power yet. Did your wipers just quit suddenly, or was there any warning?

Mine quit suddenly, one rainy morning. I messed with it for a day, checked the fuses, looked for obvious wiring damage. Eventually, I gave up and took it to a workshop. It was a corroded connector at the motor. They cleaned it up and all was fine. They billed me 95€ for the hassle. Save yourself the headache and take it in.
