Teana brake pedal feedback
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Nissan Teana owner experienced unusual feedback from the brake pedal, suspecting worn metal brakes or issues with the disc or hydraulic brakes. Another Teana owner suggested that the problem might be related to undervoltage affecting the ABS and electronic brake components. After checking, it was confirmed that undervoltage was indeed causing the brake issues, leading to necessary repairs.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Undervoltage, huh? Interesting. I haven't checked that. How would undervoltage affect the brake system? What exactly was the problem when you had it?

Okay, so apparently, low voltage can mess with the ABS and other electronic brake components. It gives weird signals and throws the whole system off. Look, I'm no expert, but it was definitely the culprit for me. I would recommend a reliable workshop, you will have to change the whole brake pads anyway.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a shop, and it turned out to be exactly what you said – undervoltage causing the issue with the brakes. Had to replace some stuff, and the final repair cost was around 240€. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, dude, sounds familiar! I drive a Teana as well, and I had something similar happen last year. Really odd feedback through the pedal, right? Like, squishy, but also kinda hard to press at times? I initially thought it was just the brake pads wearing down, but it was way more complex. Did you check the voltage in your ride recently?
