Teana Key Battery Low Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Nissan Teana is displaying a 'key battery low' warning, causing keyless access and locking functions to fail. The primary issue is likely a depleted battery in the key fob. Replacing the battery resolved the problem, but if issues persist, a diagnostic check at a workshop is recommended to rule out other potential faults, such as a malfunction in the receiver module.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Correct. The keyless entry is failing. Did changing the battery solve your problem?

Changing the battery did temporarily improve things, but the underlying issue persisted. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop for a diagnostic check. I recommend you do the same. A depleted battery in the key fob is a likely culprit, but there could be other factors at play, such as a fault in the receiver module.

Thank you. I replaced the battery. It was indeed the problem. Repair cost 37€

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Opel Insignia. The key fob started acting up, and I received a 'key battery low' message on the dashboard. The remote locking and unlocking became unreliable. By 'keyless access' do you mean the feature that allows you to open the car door without pressing a button on the key?
