Terra brake pedal feedback

I'm experiencing a concerning issue with my 2023 Nissan Terra, gasoline engine. It has 205099 km on it. Recently, I've noticed a strange feedback from the brake pedal. It feels… off. I'm worried it might be the metal brakes wearing down or something related to the disc brakes. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I also own a Nissan Terra. While I haven't experienced the exact feedback you describe, I did encounter issues with the brake system that caused some unusual sensations. Could you elaborate on 'strange feedback'? Is it spongy, hard, or vibrating? Have you checked the brake fluid level and condition, or had the hydraulic brakes inspected recently?

Thanks for the quick reply! The feedback is more of a pulsating sensation, almost like something is interfering with the pedal's normal travel. I haven't checked the brake fluid myself, to be honest, and the hydraulic brakes haven't been inspected recently. Could undervoltage cause such symptom?

A pulsating sensation combined with no recent brake inspection strongly suggests a problem needing professional attention. While I can't definitively diagnose the issue remotely, it does sound similar to what I experienced. In my case, the eventual cause turned out to be undervoltage in the car's electrical system affecting the ABS module, which then impacted braking performance. I would advise you to have your local workshop run a diagnostic on the car. A mechanic should be able to give you more information.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's reassuring to know someone else has encountered a similar issue. I'll definitely take it to a trusted workshop as soon as possible. I just got the car back from the shop; you were spot on! The problem was the undervoltage; the total repair cost was 240€. Thanks again!
