Terra electrical malfunctions

I've got a 2022 Nissan Terra diesel with about 158k km on the clock. Recently, the diagnostics are showing an error, and I'm seeing some general electrical malfunctions. Also, the navigation system is completely dead. Could this be a software glitch? Anyone else experienced similar?

Interesting. I have a Terra too, and while not exactly the same, your description rings a bell. My issue involved the onboard diagnostics throwing a code and some odd electrical behavior, though my navigation still worked. Have you checked the control module for any obvious signs of damage or loose connections?

Thanks for the input. I haven't physically checked the module yet, but the error code points to a programming issue. Could it be something that requires a recalibration or even a full software refresh?

Okay, a programming issue definitely sounds like it could be the culprit. In my case, the workshop folks mentioned something about the vehicle software needing a refresh because the programming of the control unit was implausible. Given your symptoms, especially with the navigation system being down, I would suggest taking it to a trusted workshop. My repair cost about 240€, but it might vary depending on the extent of the damage. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Appreciate the info. Sounds like a trip to the workshop is unavoidable. Will advise once I get it sorted. Cheers!
