Terra rough idle and stalling

My 2021 Nissan Terra gasoline with 66k km is giving me trouble. The check engine light is on, and the engine runs rough, stalling at idle and jerking when accelerating. I suspect the fuel pressure sensor. I've checked the MAF sensor and spark plugs, but no luck. I'm also considering a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

I had almost the identical symptoms on my Terra. It was driving me nuts! Rough idle, jerking acceleration, the whole nine yards. Have you checked the fuel pump relay? I remember someone mentioning that on another forum.

Thanks for the quick reply! I had not thought of that. I will check the fuel pump relay. Where is it located? Does this relay affect the fuel pressure sensor?

You are right, I misread the first post. Sorry for that. The fuel pump relay would cause a stall or prevent the car from starting altogether. It is more likely to be the fuel pressure sensor itself. Before replacing it, check the values provided by the sensor with a diagnostic tool. If those values seem off, have a professional check the wiring. Most likely, you have a defective sensor, and you need to replace it. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot for confirming my suspicions and for the advice! After checking the wiring and finding nothing wrong, I replaced the fuel pressure sensor. The garage charged me 95€ for the sensor. The car now runs smoothly, and the check engine light is now off.
