Thanks for the quick reply! I had not thought of that. I will check the fuel pump relay. Where is it located? Does this relay affect the fuel pressure sensor?

You are right, I misread the first post. Sorry for that. The fuel pump relay would cause a stall or prevent the car from starting altogether. It is more likely to be the fuel pressure sensor itself. Before replacing it, check the values provided by the sensor with a diagnostic tool. If those values seem off, have a professional check the wiring. Most likely, you have a defective sensor, and you need to replace it. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot for confirming my suspicions and for the advice! After checking the wiring and finding nothing wrong, I replaced the fuel pressure sensor. The garage charged me 95€ for the sensor. The car now runs smoothly, and the check engine light is now off.

I had almost the identical symptoms on my Terra. It was driving me nuts! Rough idle, jerking acceleration, the whole nine yards. Have you checked the fuel pump relay? I remember someone mentioning that on another forum.
