Interesting! Yes, the idle is a bit rough, now that you mention it. Did replacing the ventilation fix your Opel? Did you have to take it to a shop?

Yep, replacing a defective valve sorted out the emissions issue on the Corsa immediately. Given the symptoms, you might want to get it checked out by a professional. Seems like a trip to the workshop is unavoidable, unfortunately!

Thanks for the insight! I had the Terracan checked, and you were spot on – it was indeed a defective crankcase ventilation. Had it replaced, and the total repair came to 360€. Runs like a charm now!

That sounds rough! I had similar symptoms with my old Opel Corsa – check engine light, sluggish acceleration. Could very well be a ventilation issue like you're thinking. Is the idle rough too?
