Terrano brake booster sensor error
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Nissan Terrano displayed a brake booster pressure sensor error, resulting in poor braking performance. The issue was suspected to be linked to incorrect brake bleeding, which can affect pressure readings and trigger sensor errors. Re-bleeding the brake system and replacing the faulty sensor resolved the problem.

Thanks! The brake lines were bled recently. How would incorrect bleeding cause this sensor error? Trying to understand the link.

In my case, incorrect bleeding seemed to trigger the same sensor error and braking issues. I'm no expert, but I think it messes with the pressure readings. I took it to a workshop. They re-bled the system and replaced the sensor, which fixed it.

Okay, I appreciate the insight. I'll take it to a workshop and suggest they focus on the brake bleeding and the pressure sensor. Turns out the brake system was bled incorrectly, like we suspected. After re-bleeding the system and replacing the faulty sensor, it cost me 90€ and the problem is now resolved.

I had similar problems with my Terrano. Check if the brake system was bled correctly. Sometimes air gets trapped, especially after maintenance. Did you recently change any brake components?
