Thanks! The scan tool showed various communication errors within the CAN bus system, but the codes weren't consistent. Weather doesn't seem to matter. The errors appear randomly, no matter the engine temp or how long I've been driving. Did yours act the same way, and were your error codes all over the place too?

Yep, inconsistent error codes and random failures sound exactly like what I went through. Turns out it was a faulty control unit cable connection to the BUS system. Given your symptoms and error codes, that's likely your issue too. I'd get a good technician to check the cable connection for damage. Cost me 155€, and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for sharing your experience! That confirms my suspicions about the cable connection. I'll book an appointment with a trusted workshop to get it checked out and fixed. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Terrano – sporadic errors, especially with the audio/navigation, plus warning lights. Did the scan tool give you any specific error codes? Does it happen more in certain weather or after driving for a while?
