Territory diesel engine stalling and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Ford Territory diesel is experiencing intermittent check engine light activation, engine stalling at idle, and reduced power during acceleration. The issue is suspected to be related to a defective fuel volume regulator and possibly a failing high pressure pump. After consulting with others who experienced similar problems, it was confirmed that the high pressure pump was indeed faulty and needed replacement, resolving the issue.

Good question. Now that you mention it, my fuel economy has dropped noticeably over the last few weeks. What was the fix when you experienced this?

That confirms it. I suggest you get the high pressure pump checked at a workshop. It's highly likely it's faulty.

Thanks for the insight. I took your advice and brought it to a workshop. Turns out you were spot on, the high pressure pump was defective. The repair cost me 1510€, but at least it's running smoothly again.

I have the same model, and those symptoms sound familiar. Did you notice any changes in fuel economy leading up to this?
