Territory power windows fault
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Ford Territory diesel developed a fault where the power windows stopped operating, and an error was stored. The initial suspicion was a faulty power window switch. After considering potential causes like obstructions or regulator motor issues, it was confirmed that the switch was indeed the problem. Replacing the switch and regulator motor resolved the issue.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check the window track for obstructions, but how would that cause an error to be stored? Was that the case with your Peugeot?

Good point about the error. On my Peugeot, it didn't store an error code, so might not be the same issue. Given your Territory is logging an error, it might be electrical. Best to get it checked by a workshop if you are unsure, could save you time and money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be the switch, as suspected. New switch and regulator motor fitted, total cost was 200€. All working again now.

Had a similar problem on my old Peugeot 307. All the windows just stopped working one day. Have you checked the window track and mechanism for any obstructions? Could be a regulator motor issue, or the switch itself. Worth a quick look before diving in too deep.
