Territory sporadic system failures

Sounds familiar. I have a Territory too, not sure of the exact year offhand, but I experienced similar symptoms. The temporary shutdowns and seemingly random system failures are indicative of a control module issue. I'd wager it's related to the CAN bus connection.

I didn't attempt any repairs myself. Based on the symptoms and error codes, plus my past experience with similar issues on other vehicles, I suspected a CAN bus issue and took it directly to a workshop. They confirmed it was a defective cable connection to the control unit. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a professional.
