Territory Windshield Washer Heater Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Ford Territory electric vehicle displayed a windshield washer heater fault, leading to frozen spray nozzles during cold weather. The issue was suspected to be a faulty connection, specifically a corroded connector, rather than a failure of the heating element itself. The problem was resolved by cleaning the connector and replacing a small section of wire, which was confirmed after a visit to a repair shop.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is that connection located? I'm not super familiar with the Territory's layout. Is it something easily accessible, or am I better off just taking it to a shop?

Given the symptoms and error code, a defective cable or plug connection to the component is most probable. However, pinpointing the exact location without specific diagrams can be tricky. It's likely near the washer motor, but accessibility varies. For a definitive diagnosis and repair, involving electrical components, a workshop visit is advisable.

Yep, you were spot on! Took it to the shop, and it was a corroded connector. They cleaned it up and replaced a small section of wire. Total cost was 95€ Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Frozen washer nozzles and a heater error at that mileage is unusual. I'd suspect a faulty connection first. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the windshield washer heater? It's a common point of failure.
