Good shout! I haven't checked the wiring loom yet. Is the damage usually obvious, like frayed wires or a broken connector? And which door was giving you grief?

For me, it was obvious when I took the rubber boot off. One wire was completely snapped, and a couple more were nearly done. It's worth a look, but I booked mine into the workshop. It turned out to be a dodgy connector and cost me 80€ all in with labor.

Thanks for the tip! I'll inspect those wires tomorrow. If it's worse than I think, a trip to the shop seems in order. Cheers for the heads up on the costs. It cost me 95€ in the end, but I'm glad it's sorted.

I had a similar issue with my Symbol. The symptoms sound identical. I can't remember the exact error code, but it also pointed to some kind of electrical fault in the locking circuit. Did you check the wiring loom where it passes from the body to the door? They are prone to damage.
