Thalia Mirror Heating Fault
Summary of the thread
The 2010 Renault Thalia's mirror heating was not functioning, with an error memory indicating a fault. The initial suspicion was a cable or plug issue. Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the mirror adjustment works perfectly. Where exactly should I check the connections? I'm not very skilled at this.

Okay, if the adjustment works, it's probably not the main power feed. Unfortunately, tracing the wiring for the heater element itself can be tricky without proper tools. The error memory suggests a more serious electrical fault. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to avoid damaging something. It should be a quick job for them.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop and it was indeed a defective plug connection as we suspected. Repair cost was 95€. All fixed now!

I had a similar issue with my Renault Symbol. Does the mirror adjustment still work? If not, it really does point to a connection problem. It could be a fuse as well, have you checked?
