Thanks, I checked the fuse already. The OBD-II scanner says there's an open circuit in the seat heating element. Before I replace the mat, which costs 390€, has anyone else had this?

An open circuit is different from my Opel. I didn't go that deep, I just took it to a shop. A broken heating element sounds like a pain. Given the price, I'd let a professional handle it unless you're comfortable with car electrics. Best to avoid messing something else up!

Sounds familiar! My old Opel Astra had a similar problem, but it was the temperature control unit. The seat heating wouldn't get warm. Did you check the fuse for the seat heater? Where did you see the error code? Generic or seat-specific?
