Tiburon mirror heating problem
Summary of the thread
The mirror heating on a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon stopped working, and an error code suggests a potential issue with a cable or plug connection. The mirror adjustment still functions, indicating that the main power is likely intact. It is recommended to check the fuses first, as a blown fuse could be the cause. If the fuse is not the issue, consulting a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair is advised.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the mirror adjustment works perfectly fine. I didn't check the fuses yet. Where exactly would I find the fuse for the mirror heating in the fusebox?

Okay, good, so the main power to the mirror is probably okay. I would check the fuse diagram in your owner's manual. It should point you to the correct one. However, given the error code, and if the fuse is okay, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop. The repair might cost around 95€.

Appreciate the advice! I'll check the fuse first, but it sounds like I will have to bring it to a mechanic. Thank you very much for your help!

Mirror heating issues can be a pain. Does the mirror adjustment still work? If it does, that could rule out a completely broken wiring harness. Have you checked the relevant fuses? Sometimes it's just a simple blown fuse.
