Hey, thanks for your answer, really helpful! It matches my symptoms exactly. Can you remember what you paid for the repairs? And has anything else come up since then? I just want to make sure before I go to a garage.

Hey, I'm glad I could help! So, I paid €240 for the repair of the defective rollover sensor. Since then, the problem has been fixed and I've had no further problems with it. So I think it's worth having it checked by a mechanic. I hope this helps you with your decision!

Great, thanks for the info! 240 sounds fair to me. I'm glad to hear that you haven't had any further problems since then. I think I'll follow your advice and have it checked by a mechanic. Hopefully my car will be at peace after the repair. Thanks again for your help!

Hey, know this all too well. Had a similar experience with my 2012 BMW 3 Series. The problem was actually a bit more serious. Mine also had the top sticking and warning lights on the speedometer. Thought it was just a minor issue at first, but it turned out to be a faulty control unit for the soft top and the airbag system wasn't working properly due to a sensory fault. Therefore, I can only advise you not to hesitate and to visit a reliable mechanic as soon as possible. I hope this helps you a little!
