Tire Pressure Sensor Fault on Mini Countryman Hybrid

Yes, I checked the error memory and it indicates a sensor fault. The tire pressure is too low, at least according to the system. Could it really be just the sensor battery after just under 100000 km?

That mileage is certainly plausible for the sensor batteries to start failing. Considering the error memory points to a sensor fault and you're seeing incorrect air pressure readings, it's very likely the culprit. I'd suggest getting them checked and replaced at a workshop to be sure.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had the tire pressure sensors replaced at the workshop. The error is gone and the tire inflation is working as expected again. The final bill was 280€.

I had a similar issue with my Mini Cooper. The low tire pressure warning kept popping up, even though my air pressure was fine. Have you checked the error memory using an OBD reader? It could give you a more specific indication of which sensor is faulty.
