Undervoltage, you say? That's not something I would have considered. The headlights do seem a bit dimmer at idle sometimes, now that you mention it. What was the fix for your Volvo? Just curious if it's something I can try myself before taking it in.

In my case, the undervoltage was causing all sorts of strange things with the car's electronics, including the ABS module, which affected the brake performance. Given the symptoms and considering the potential complexity, it's probably best to get it checked out by a qualified mechanic. A proper diagnostic will pinpoint the root cause. I wouldn't recommend DIY-ing a brake system issue, would you?

Thanks for the advice! Took your recommendation and brought the Titan to a shop. Turns out, the undervoltage was indeed the culprit, messing with the ABS. They sorted out the electrical issue, and I had to replace the worn brake shoes while they were at it. Total cost was around 240€ Appreciate the help!

Interesting issue. With these symptoms, have you considered undervoltage in the vehicle? I had a very similar experience with my 2018 Volvo XC60, different brand, I know, but the symptoms sound eerily similar. Do you notice any other electrical weirdness, like the headlights dimming slightly at idle or the infotainment system acting up?
