Interesting. I haven't checked the MAF sensor specifically. What were the symptoms with your BMW related to the MAF sensor and how did you diagnose it? Any specific tests I should run?

In my case, the car was jerking during acceleration. The diagnostic trouble code pointed towards lean running and the MAF sensor was reporting incorrect values. A mechanic confirmed it with a smoke test, and changing the sensor fixed the issue. However, given it's a diesel and you suspect the injectors, it may be best to consult a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to my local mechanic, and after running some tests, it turned out to be a faulty injector as I suspected. New injector installed, and it's running like a champ again. Cost me 515€, but worth every penny to get my Titan back on the road!

I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 series. Reduced power, check engine light – the whole shebang. Have you checked the mass air flow sensor or the oxygen sensor? A faulty catalytic converter could also cause similar symptoms.
