Titan door lock failure

I've got a 2015 Nissan Titan with a gasoline engine exhibiting an electrical fault. The doors can no longer be locked or unlocked using any method. Diagnostics point to a defective door contact signal. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? I suspect it's a cable or plug connection problem in the door wiring harness, but I'm open to suggestions before I start tearing things apart.

Diagnostics suggest a defective door contact signal, possibly due to a cable or plug connection issue in the door wiring harness. The problem was confirmed to be a faulty connection in the door wiring harness, and it was resolved by taking the vehicle to a workshop for repair.

Interesting. I've got a Nissan Titan myself, though I can't recall the exact year. I had a somewhat similar problem where the door locks were acting erratically. Did you check the main wiring harness that runs between the door and the body? It's like the car's nervous system, and if a wire frays or a connector gets loose, strange things can happen.

Yes, I visually inspected the wiring harness, but didn't perform any continuity tests. Was your issue intermittent, or did it fail completely like mine? And if you don't mind me asking, how did you finally resolve it?

In my case it was more of an intermittent gremlin, like a faulty switch that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Considering your problem is constant, and you've checked the obvious visual points, it might be worth taking it to a trusted workshop before you chase a rabbit down a hole. These electrical issues can be difficult to trace.

Appreciate the input. I'll follow your advice and take it to a workshop. The problem was indeed a faulty connection in the door wiring harness, just like initially thought. Repair cost was 95€.
