Titan Intake Manifold Flap Issue

I'm experiencing an intake manifold flap control problem with my 2015 Nissan Titan diesel with 70254 km on the clock. Symptoms include reduced engine power, rough running, jerking when accelerating, a loud hissing sound during acceleration, and higher fuel consumption. Suspect a defective switch. Any thoughts?

I had similar symptoms on my Titan. Check the intake manifold runner control valve. It caused engine misfire and reduced power. I think this is related to air intake. Was the engine light on?

Affirmative. The hissing noise was there as well, most likely due to the improper air flow caused by the faulty valve. With the engine light on, you should visit a workshop to have the error codes read and the valve checked.

Understood. Thanks for confirming. Took it to the workshop; intake manifold flap control was indeed defective. Repair cost 465€.
