Titan massage seat failure

Hey, I've got a weird issue with my 2013 Nissan Titan with a gasoline engine. The massage function on the driver's seat suddenly stopped working. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. When I press the switch, nothing happens – it's completely dead. I even scanned the system and there's an error code related to the seat motor stored. I am thinking maybe the cable or plug connection could be defective? Has anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas before I start tearing into the seat?

I have a Titan as well, though I can't remember the exact year. I had almost the exact same problem with my seat a while back. The massage function just quit. Did you happen to check the wiring harness under the seat? Sometimes they can get loose or damaged.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I glanced at the wiring harness, but didn't dig too deep. I’ll take a closer look this weekend. Was it obvious when you found the issue, like a broken wire, or was it more subtle?

For me, it wasn't immediately obvious. I had to really wiggle the connectors to find the bad connection. Honestly, after messing with it for an hour, I gave up and took it to a workshop. It was a faster solution for me.

Thanks for the insight! Sounds like I'll be doing some serious connector wiggling this weekend. I was hoping to avoid the shop, but it's good to know that's an option. The error diagnostics pointed to a cable or plug connection of the component being defective as a likely cause, and I'll be sure to check that. If I can't sort it myself, I'll book it in. The repair cost for checking and fixing it should be around 95€. Appreciate the help!
