Thanks. The horn works, but cruise control is dead. Can you explain more about checking the connection behind the steering wheel?

That strongly suggests a faulty clock spring or a wiring issue in the steering column. The cable connection in the steering wheel is likely the problem. If you're not comfortable disassembling the steering wheel, take it to a shop for diagnosis. They can pinpoint the exact cause.

Thanks for the advice. The workshop diagnosed a defective cable connection in the steering wheel, just as you suspected. The repair cost 95€. Problem solved.

I had a similar issue with my Nissan Titan, though I don't remember the exact year. Does the horn still work? What about cruise control? Mine turned out to be a bad clock spring. Also check the connection behind the steering wheel.
