Titan Multifunction Steering Wheel Failure

My 2006 Nissan Titan with a gasoline engine has a malfunctioning multifunction steering wheel. An error is logged, and I've lost all control. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue with my Nissan Titan, though I don't remember the exact year. Does the horn still work? What about cruise control? Mine turned out to be a bad clock spring. Also check the connection behind the steering wheel.

Thanks. The horn works, but cruise control is dead. Can you explain more about checking the connection behind the steering wheel?

That strongly suggests a faulty clock spring or a wiring issue in the steering column. The cable connection in the steering wheel is likely the problem. If you're not comfortable disassembling the steering wheel, take it to a shop for diagnosis. They can pinpoint the exact cause.

Thanks for the advice. The workshop diagnosed a defective cable connection in the steering wheel, just as you suspected. The repair cost 95€. Problem solved.
