Tourneo Boost Pressure Fault

I'm having a boost pressure control fault with my 2016 Ford Tourneo diesel. 47192 km. Check engine light is on and off, engine power is down, response is poor, and fuel use is up. I checked the intake and sensor connections. I think it's the boost solenoid or bypass valve, causing turbo lag. Anyone seen this?

Sounds like the VCV, I'd check the vacuum lines too before you dig deeper. Are you getting any unusual noises?

Thanks. By VCV, do you mean the vacuum switching valve? Any specific points to check on the vacuum lines? No unusual noises, just the performance issues.

Yes, vacuum switching valve. They're prone to failure on those engines. If it's not that, you're looking at the turbo itself. Get it checked at a workshop before you chase ghosts.

Thanks. You were right; it was a bad vacuum switching valve. The workshop confirmed it, and the replacement was 140€, including labor. Appreciate the help.
