Tourneo Defective Injection Nozzle

My 2012 Ford Tourneo, gasoline engine, has a defective injection nozzle. Mileage is 136614 km. Symptoms include poor starting, higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and occasional stalling. I suspect a dirty injection valve. Has anyone else had this?

I had similar issues with my Tourneo. Was it misfiring, especially when cold? I had sputtering and rough idling. I initially thought it was diesel clogging.

Yes, misfires are happening, especially when the engine is cold. How did you solve the issue? Was it just cleaning the injection nozzles?

I tried fuel injector cleaner, but no luck. Eventually, the workshop diagnosed a faulty injector and recommended replacing it. It cost a bit, but solved the problem. Given your symptoms, it might be worth a check. Probably not just diesel clogging, but could be dirt.
