Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the cable/plug connection located? I am having a hard time finding it. Is it easy to access?

On the BMW, it was near the washer motor itself, but I'm not familiar with the Ford setup. Given the error and freezing, and since you checked the fuses, a defective cable or plug connection is the likely culprit. If you are unsure, I would recommend taking it to a workshop, you may save yourself a lot of time.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were right. It was a defective cable/plug connection. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series. Faulty windshield washer heater can be a real pain. Did you check the cable and plug connection of the component? That was the problem on my car, apparently a common issue.
