Thanks, I did store some items under the seats. Are those connections easily dislodged? Could a simple disconnection trigger the warning light, like a faulty light bulb?

Think of it like a loose wire on a Christmas tree light. One bad connection can knock out the whole string. Yeah, those under-seat connectors are a common culprit. If jiggling them doesn't work, it might still be something else, but it's always the easiest first check. If the light stays on, you will need to visit a workshop.

I checked the connectors under the seats and found a slightly loose connection on the driver's side. After reconnecting, the warning light went off. The repair cost me 95€. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds familiar. Airbag systems can be finicky. Before diving too deep, have you tried checking the connections under the seats? Sometimes those get loose, especially if you've had stuff stored back there. Also, any recent work done on the car, like audio or electrical?
