Wiring harness seems ok at first glance. Turn signal works, cruise control I never use so I don't know. What was wrong with your Peugeot?

In my case, it turned out to be a defective connection – corrosion within the plug itself. It's difficult to spot without close inspection. Given your limited use of cruise control, potential interactions between the modules may not be obvious. I recommend a workshop perform a thorough check. Their diagnostic tools could pinpoint it faster than self-diagnosis.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. It was indeed a dodgy plug. 95€ and the wipers are working again.

I encountered a similar issue with my old Peugeot 207. The wipers would fail intermittently. Have you checked the wiring harness where it connects to the wiper motor and the switch? Also, does the turn signal and cruise control work properly?
