Toyota Noah high voltage system error
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Toyota Noah hybrid is experiencing a high-voltage system error, causing the engine to shut off randomly and lose power. The issue may be related to a battery drain or an inverter problem. A similar case suggested that a heavily discharged or defective battery could be the cause. The problem was resolved by replacing the high-voltage battery, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Yeah, the battery warning flickers sometimes, but it's not constantly on. How did you figure out it was the battery? Did you get any specific codes?

No specific codes that I recall, just the system malfunction light and the reduced power. Honestly, I didn't dig too deep myself. With hybrid systems, it's best to take it to a workshop that knows what they're doing. They'll have the right diagnostic tools.

You were spot on! Took it to a specialist, and it was indeed the high-voltage battery. They replaced it, and the error is gone. Cost me 290€, but now she runs like new again. Thanks for the heads-up; I really appreciate it!

I had a similar issue with my Noah. Is your battery warning light on? Sounds like the high-voltage system is cutting power. Could be a heavily discharged or defective battery.
