Toyota Noah Hybrid Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Toyota Noah hybrid is experiencing poor starting, higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and occasional stalling at idle. These issues could be related to a dirty or faulty injection nozzle, but other potential causes include problems with the oxygen sensors or catalytic converter. It is recommended to conduct a professional diagnostic evaluation to accurately identify and resolve the issue.

I haven't used an OBD-II scanner yet, but that's next. The gasoline looks normal. Which emissions control components should I check? Did your issue also include engine stalling?

Engine stalling at idle was frustrating. Check the oxygen sensors and catalytic converter, though a dirty injection valve is likely. Fuel injection systems are complex, so consult a technician. A bad injector could cause more damage. Get a diagnostic evaluation at a workshop.

A professional diagnostic assessment is best. I'll book a workshop appointment. Thanks for sharing your experience. It seems I will have to prepare for a repair bill in the region of 515€. I will post the solution when it's resolved. Thanks again.

I own a Noah, though not a 2017 model. Your symptoms sound like a problem I faced. Can you share any diagnostic steps you've taken? Have you checked the gasoline or emissions control components? Any OBD-II error codes?
