Trafic ABS Lateral Acceleration Sensor Fault

Experiencing an ABS issue with my 2020 Renault Trafic diesel. At 218905 km, the ABS lamp is on, and a scan shows a lateral acceleration sensor fault. I've checked wheel alignment and steering angle. Anyone seen this? Looking at a 1000€ repair.

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Renault Trafic diesel is experiencing an ABS issue, indicated by the ABS lamp being on and a diagnostic scan showing a lateral acceleration sensor fault. The problem may stem from a faulty sensor, as confirmed by another individual with a similar issue. The suggested solution is to replace the lateral acceleration sensor to resolve the ABS fault.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had something similar with my Trafic. ABS light came on, and the electronic stability system went haywire. Was the diagnostic scan detailed?

The scan indicated a faulty lateral acceleration sensor. Was your issue the same, and if so, what specific steps resolved it? Trying to avoid unnecessary costs.

Yes, it was the lateral acceleration sensor. Honestly, I just took it to the workshop. Best bet.

Thanks. Based on your experience and the diagnostic scan, I will proceed with replacing the sensor. I appreciate the insight.
