Thanks for the quick response! When you say check the transmission input, are you talking about a sensor? Is it something I can easily check myself, or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?

Yeah, there's a sensor that reads the transmission speed. Honestly, with ABS issues, it's usually best to have a professional diagnose it. A faulty control unit is a common cause, and those can be tricky. I’d recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – it was the ABS control unit. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted, but at least it's fixed now. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like you've got a speed signal fault. Has the input to the transmission been checked? If the signal is bad, the ECM can't properly control the ABS and traction. I've seen similar things happen before.
