Thanks for the reply. Yes, the indicators flash when locking. Are you saying the indicator flashing is causing the problem? How did you fix it?

In my case, the indicator flashing was linked to the alarm problem. I'd suggest getting a workshop to check the alarm system's configuration. They should be able to pinpoint the exact cause and reprogram it if needed.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out the alarm system was coded to activate the optical locking, which was causing the issue. Recoding it fixed the problem. The repair cost 45€ Thank you again.

I had a similar issue with my Trafic. Do the indicators flash when you lock the car? It might be coded to activate optical locking, which can sometimes mess with the alarm.
