Trafic Automatic Transmission Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Trafic diesel is experiencing issues with the automatic transmission being stuck in park, the engine not starting, and the check engine light being on. The problem may be linked to a faulty control unit, as indicated by an error code related to the transmission. A similar case was resolved by replacing the control unit, suggesting that taking the vehicle to a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair is advisable.

Slipping between gears, yes! Error stored in the error memory as well. I haven't checked the gear linkage specifically, but I suspected the transmission sensor might be involved. Was it the control unit for you then?

Yep, control unit. All the same symptoms. Honestly, save yourself the headache and take it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and replace the unit. Cost me about 1000€.

Thanks for confirming! Sounds like I'm in for a similar repair bill. I'll get it booked in at the workshop and have them check the control unit. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar transmission issues with my Trafic. Was it also slipping between gears and throwing up errors? Did you check the gear linkage or the transmission sensor?
