Trafic Fuel Flap Issue

Thanks for the tip! I've tried the key fob trick, but no luck. Still can't get the fuel flap to release. Any further ideas before I take it to a workshop?

Yeah, sounds like you've exhausted the easy fixes. With the key fob thing not working, it points to a deeper issue, probably the actuator itself or the wiring. It's likely a job for the professionals. I'd suggest getting it checked out; I bet the error memory is storing something useful. Could be a defective linkage if that's how the Trafic is set up.

Okay, thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop and they confirmed it was a defective linkage, causing the electric actuator to fail. Cost me 210€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 308. The fuel door wouldn't pop open. In my case, the electric actuator had given up the ghost. Have you tried using the key fob to lock and unlock the car multiple times? Sometimes that can jiggle things loose, like a software reboot for a sticky door.
