Trafic Fuel Flap Issue

Hi, I have a 2022 Renault Trafic diesel with about 57k km on the clock. Recently, the fuel flap release stopped working. I get an error message, and I can't open the fuel filler flap, which is also causing other functions to be unavailable. I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 308. The fuel door wouldn't pop open. In my case, the electric actuator had given up the ghost. Have you tried using the key fob to lock and unlock the car multiple times? Sometimes that can jiggle things loose, like a software reboot for a sticky door.

Okay, thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop and they confirmed it was a defective linkage, causing the electric actuator to fail. Cost me 210€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
