Thanks. Is there any particular area of the wiring harness I should be focusing on? It seems like a huge job to check the whole thing.

Given the symptoms, I would advise checking the section of the wiring harness that runs near the engine and the undercarriage. However, diagnosing intermittent electrical faults can be time-consuming. Considering the potential cost of misdiagnosis, it would be wise to consult with a qualified workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. Wiring harness fault. Cost me 290€ to fix.

Yes, I have encountered similar issues. Check the circuit breaker and fuse box for corrosion or loose connections. An electrical fault or chafing within the wiring harness could also be the culprit. Have you inspected the starter motor?
