Trafic power window issue

Hi, I have a 2007 Renault Trafic, diesel engine, with ~99k km. Recently had to replace the battery, and now the power windows won't work. Error is stored in the memory, window regulator initialization unsuccessful. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Trafic. Did you try the window reset procedure? Sometimes they need to relearn their positions after power loss. It's like when your phone forgets your wifi password after a software change.

Window reset procedure? I've never heard of it. What exactly do you mean by that?

Yeah, the 'relearn' thing. Couldn't get it working, I'm afraid. In the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They sorted it, but it cost me 290€.
