Trafic Power Windows Faulty Switch

My 2021 Renault Trafic diesel with 106795 km has dead power windows. Diagnostics show a fault for the window regulator. Suspecting a bad power window switch, has anyone else seen this before I take apart the door?

Check the window track for obstructions. The regulator motor might be jammed. Were there any unusual noises before it failed?

Good call on the window track, hadn't thought of that. No odd noises, it just stopped. Are there any known weak points on these regulator motors?

The motors are known to fail, but that usually throws a different code. Since it's intermittent and logging a regulator fault, the switch itself is the main suspect. Still best to have it checked in a workshop.

It was the driver's side power window switch. A new switch fixed it. Cost 200€ for the part and fitting. Thanks.
