Fuses, huh? I didn't even think about that! Where exactly is the heating module located in your Peugeot? Maybe it's in a similar spot in my Trafic. When you mention electrical fault, was it a nightmare to fix, or was it something relatively simple, like a dodgy wire? Was it just the cable that was damaged or was it the unit itself?

The heating module was on top of the engine, hard to miss. It was just a dodgy wire, so nothing serious. I ended up taking it to the repair shop. Figured it was safer than me poking around and making things worse. If you're not entirely comfortable diving deep into the car's brains, it might be worth visiting a workshop. They often have diagnostic tools that can pinpoint the problem super quickly!

Thanks for the insight! That's really helpful. I'll check the fuses first and trace the preheating unit cable, but if it looks too complicated, I'll head to the workshop. It was a defective plug connection, cost me 95€, and now the van runs like a charm. Thanks again!

Whoa, sounds frustrating! That preheating lamp thing is a pain. I had a similar thing happening with my old Peugeot 308. Glow plug light staying on, engine light… the whole shebang. For me that was an electrical fault somewhere in the heating module. Have you checked all the fuses? Maybe the preheating unit's cable is damaged?
